Tech EVENTS

Tech Events for Schools at 3DMZ

Discover technology, develop talent, build the future

At 3DMZ, we believe engineering and technology are the building blocks of the future. That is why we organize inspiring Tech Events for students every year, with the goal of introducing young people to technology and innovation in an interactive and accessible way. Whether they are in primary or secondary school, at 3DMZ we bring technology to life.

Technology Promotion Event (PET days)

For grades 5 and 6 of primary school (groep 7 and 8)

The PET days are specially designed to introduce primary school students to engineering and technology in a playful, interactive way. During this event, children discover through workshops, demonstrations and hands-on activities how broad and diverse the world of technology is.

What do students do during the PET days?

  • Experiment with technology and technical applications themselves
  • Get to know careers in technology and innovation
  • Learn about the impact of technology on our society

The PET days are not only educational, but also fun and inspiring. They let children experience that technology is all around them, from the smartphone in their hand to the bridge they cycle across.

TECH YOUR TALENT

For lower-year students in pre-vocational secondary education (vmbo)

Tech Your Talent is aimed specifically at vmbo students and offers a challenging introduction to the seven worlds of technology. During this event, young people discover the opportunities in the technical sector through workshops, demonstrations and speed dates with professionals.

What do students experience at Tech Your Talent?

  • Interactive workshops with technologies such as 3D printing, robotics and IoT
  • Hands-on assignments to discover their talents
  • Conversations with technicians and students who have already chosen a technical path

Tech Your Talent helps young people get a better picture of technical careers and education, so they can make a well-informed choice about their future.
