3D Printing Masterclass
Want to produce faster, more sustainably and more flexibly? 3D printing gives SME manufacturers the opportunity to accelerate product development, reduce waste and make customization easier. How do you use this technology effectively in your production process?
In this in-depth session, you discover concrete applications of 3D printing.
During this focus session, we welcome:
Viktor Valk, Regional President at Freemelt.
Viktor will talk about Electron Beam Melting, a 3D printing technology in which an electron beam selectively melts metal powder, making it possible to build fully dense and accurate metal parts.
Maarten van Rooij, Vice President at Ultimaker
Maarten discusses the latest developments in materials for 3D printing. He highlights how new plastics, composites and sustainable filaments are expanding the possibilities of 3D printing.
René Tamboer, program manager for digitalization & circular manufacturing at TU Delft
René explains how TU Delft translates research into topics such as 3D printing into concrete applications for business and society. He discusses how new techniques and designs are developed in collaboration with the manufacturing industry, with attention to sustainability, efficiency and innovation.
You can join this focus session on your own, but we encourage you to bring your colleagues! Thanks to support from the European EDIH program, participation in this focus session is free of charge, although a state aid declaration must be signed.
