New Smart Tech Innovation Vouchers available
The Province of North Holland offers Smart Tech Innovation Vouchers that allow SMEs and mid-cap companies to start a project at 3DMZ easily and affordably. The goal of the vouchers is to help smaller companies innovate with smart and/or digital technology.
WHO CAN APPLY FOR A VOUCHER?
The vouchers are intended for SMEs and mid-cap companies in manufacturing or related sectors. Want to know more about the possibilities of digitalization? Do you have a (research) question or challenge in the field of new technology, or do you want to apply an innovative solution, possibly together with partners? Then you can apply for a voucher and use it at 1 of the 4 Smart Industry fieldlabs in the Province of North Holland: 3DMZ (3D Makers Zone), BouwLab R&Do, Techport and TechValley.

Scoping voucher worth € 5,000
Together with our experts, you identify the most promising opportunities of digital technology for your company.
Scoping voucher procedure
- Apply for the voucher at 3DMZ via voucher@3dmz.nl and include the signed de minimis declaration and SME size declaration (Dutch forms).
- 3DMZ checks whether you meet all conditions and gets back to you.
- The scoping project starts.
- 3DMZ compiles the outcomes of the scoping project in a statement of performance. The project ends with signing it.
feasibility voucher worth € 10,000
Together with our experts, you define the scope of your feasibility study and the expected results. We carry out the study at our location in Haarlem.
Feasibility voucher procedure
- Apply for the voucher at 3DMZ via voucher@3dmz.nl and include the signed de minimis declaration and SME size declaration (Dutch forms).
- 3DMZ contacts you to discuss your question.
- You receive a proposal for carrying out the feasibility study.
- After your approval, the 3DMZ expert committee reviews the application.
- You receive a confirmation after approval.
- Together with our experts, you carry out the feasibility study.
- You receive a research report from 3DMZ. The project ends with signing the statement of performance.
pilot voucher worth up to € 50,000
With this voucher, you can carry out a pilot project in the field of digitalization. As a company, you invest yourself and the voucher doubles that investment, up to a maximum of € 50,000.
Pilot voucher procedure
- Contact us via voucher@3dmz.nl to test your idea for a pilot project.
- If the response is positive, you apply for the voucher with us.
- Together with our experts, you draw up a project plan and budget.
- The 3DMZ expert committee reviews the plan and budget.
- After approval, you receive a confirmation of the award. You sign the de minimis declaration and SME size declaration (Dutch forms).
- We carry out the project according to plan.
- You receive the final report from 3DMZ. The project ends with signing the statement of performance.
- You receive an invoice from 3DMZ for your own contribution.
What are the conditions?
- You are an SME or mid-cap company and sign the SME size declaration for this.
- The company is located or active in the Province of North Holland.
- You have a question or want a solution in the field of digital innovation.
- The company has not exceeded the threshold for government support, and you sign the de minimis declaration for this.
- For a pilot project, you invest 50% of the required amount yourself. The voucher covers the remaining 50%, up to a maximum of € 50,000.
- The scheme runs until December 31, 2026. Applications must be submitted before then.

Digitizing parts
Explore 3D scanning of (spare) parts for quality control or 3D printing. For example, parts that are out of production or imported from abroad.
Industrial 3D printing
Find out whether you can use your residual waste stream for 3D printing. Experiment with bio-circular materials or test which spare parts are suitable for 3D printing. 3DMZ offers a wide range of possibilities.
IoT & Sensors
At 3DMZ, we specialize in creating smart setups and products that take various measurements with sensors. For example in the field, to monitor passersby or animals.
Digital designs & workflow
Parametric design and online product catalogs & configurators for smart, digital workflows.
Robots & Cobots
Test whether 3D printing or 3D milling with industrial robots suits your application. Or discover what cobots can do for your company.
Digital Supply Chains
A digital warehouse with digital models of parts that are produced on demand, where and when needed. Explore the possibilities for your company.
