PILOTS
Put digital innovations into practice with a pilot project
The transition to a smarter, more digital manufacturing process often starts with a pilot project. At 3DMZ, we give companies the opportunity to test new technologies in a controlled environment before implementing them on a larger scale.
What does a pilot project involve?
A pilot project is a small-scale, practical test of a digital technology or innovation in your manufacturing or maintenance processes. Think of:
- 3D printing of specific end parts or prototypes
- Implementation of AI-driven process optimization
- Data analytics and real-time monitoring of production processes
- Testing sensor technology and automation
During a pilot project, we investigate together with your team how a specific technology performs in the day-to-day practice of your production environment. The focus is on exploring possibilities, identifying challenges and assessing return and feasibility.
Why choose a pilot project at 3DMZ?
- Practical testing: Technologies are tested in a realistic, operational environment.
- Results-driven: The pilot delivers valuable insights for further implementation.
- Expert guidance: Benefit from our experience as a Smart Industry Fieldlab and European Digital Innovation Hub.
- Flexible approach: Every pilot project is tailored to your specific challenges and goals.
- Minimal risk, maximum insight: Test new technologies without major upfront investments.
Who are pilot projects for?
Our pilot projects are aimed at SMEs and mid-cap companies in manufacturing and maintenance located in the provinces of North Holland, South Holland, Utrecht and Flevoland. Whether you want to test a new production process or improve an existing technology, a pilot is the ideal first step.
